This week I have the privilege to magnify the voice of John Baldino. John has over 25 years of experience in the HR profession and stepped aside from corporate HR to open his firm Humareso. He and his team provide Human Resources strategy and outsourced administration for all business types.
In this episode, John shares his HR story, and through our love of the animated movie Robots, we discuss how to see and fill a need in HR. It takes great bravery to step outside of your comfort zone to do something pioneering when others may think you are too much.
John shares:
Why you should consider advice from people who do not like you.
Why he would tell his younger self to take a break.
How he practices self-care.
Why he believes that HR needs to "stop being the office of prescription".
John also shares some resources with us, so get ready to load your Amazon cart.
Follow John on LinkedIn and check out his LinkedIn Live show on Thursday mornings at 10:00 am, "But First Coffee", with his co-host Jackye Clayton.

The first time content from @Peopleculturecollective started showing up in my TikTok feed, I was hooked and I knew that I had to have Veronica Sargeant as a guest on my show.
Veronica is a Fintech HR Leader who is passionate about Diversity and Inclusion and Leadership Development in both corporate and startup environments. She has held HR positions in a variety of industries, including FMCG, professional services, hospitality, manufacturing, and mining and her philosophy on HR as a function is to "nurture people to nurture talent."
Navigating social media as an HR professional can be difficult, especially when you are trying to be both engaging and funny (something HR is not known for). Pay attention to Veronica she definitely has the secret sauce.
You can follow Veronica on LinkedIn but be sure to check out her content on TikTok where she goes as the People Culture Collective.
