In this episode, Jennifer McClure visits the sound booth and we discuss DisruptHR. The speaker event series that she started with her friend Chris Ostoich in 2013 to engage HR and business professionals in her home town of Cincinnati. What started as a potentially one-off event to fill a need for professionals in their home town, has exploded into a global rebelution.
What inspired them to create this event? What is the format? How global is it? Jennifer answers these questions and more as we sound off in this disruptive episode.

2020 has gotten off to a very rocky start. Everywhere we turn we are bombarded by news reports, WhatsApp messages, e-mails and other forms of social media messaging as it relates to COVID-19. Businesses have been forced to lay off, reduce salaries and find other ways to keep their day to day going or shut down altogether. Families are reduced to waiting on government grants and other contributions to keep things going and at the heart of all of what is happening are the HR professionals who are working non-stop to process paperwork, give consoling messages and work with leadership on damage control. This podcast focuses on positive ways to get through each day, despite the difficult times we are going through.

Managing technology and data has changed dramatically and Joanna is going to walk us through how we can manage these changes and coach our people to shape and grow with the organization.
